On June 1-2, 2012, CEREV director Erica Lehrer, affiliated scholar Shelley Butler, and doctoral student Florencia Marchetti attended the Public Ethnography Conference at Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC.

They presented a series of papers on a panel titled, “Curating Difficult Knowledge: New Models of Cultural Evocation & Intervention,” which showcased their CEREV-related work. The post-conference video about Public Ethnography features Florencia Marchetti’s reflections about the intersection of her ethnographic work with public audiences.
