“Souvenir, Talisman, Toy” draws visitors and media

Erica Lehrer’s recent exhibit in Krakow, Poland, “Souvenir, Talisman, Toy” drew unanticipated interest, attracting almost 1,500 visitors in its initial 20-day run in the city’s Seweryn Udziela Ethnographic Museum, and garnering attention in major Polish media outlets, as well as in North American and Israeli press (see links below).

Concordia’s news service published a reflection on the exhibit, with links to our internet and social media sites. An excerpt of “Souvenir, Talisman, Toy” is currently on display at the Galicja Jewish Museum in Krakow, until August 30th, 2013. A substantial exhibition catalog in currently in production, and traveling version of the exhibit is under discussion.
